Announcing Open Enrollment dates, completing annual compliance training, and more
Happy Friday! This edition of The Spinal Column has lots of important information about Open Enrollment, annual compliance training, and an important note for our IPS team. Keep reading for the 411!

A message for our IPS team
To all of the Team Members of Interventional Pain Specialists, welcome to Commonwealth Pain & Spine.
We are glad that you are here, and we truly appreciate all of your hard work over the past few weeks especially since the go-live of Athena.
We acknowledge that change can be difficult and may bring about many questions. Please know that we are in this together, to support and inject large doses of grace as we navigate through the channel of change.
Please keep your feedback coming on both what is working well and what improvements should be considered.
It is now time to turn our focus and attention to the next phase of alignment for all Team Members across the organization.
What does this mean? First, we will be introducing your new benefits program that will become effective on January 1, 2024.
Your Human Resources team will be scheduling 1:1 in person sessions during the week of November 27th - please watch for the dates/times announcement so that you are able to sign-up.
These sessions will provide you with information to make well rounded decisions for your 2024 coverage.
You will be making your benefit selections for 2024 during open enrollment! It begins on Friday, December 1st and will end on Friday, December 7th.
It is very important to note that every eligible Team Member MUST participate in this open enrollment process even if you choose to decline coverage. More details coming soon!
Second, it will also be time to onboard all IPS team members to Commonwealth Pain & Spine's payroll system, Paylocity.
What do you need to know about Paylocity and next steps?
You will be receiving an email soon in your "mypainsolution.com" mailbox that will REQUIRE your action. Your actions will include completing tax documents, submitting your direct deposit information, AND providing identification for the completion of your I9 document.
We will be sharing detailed instructions with you before our Thanksgiving holiday.
A few important reminders:
The first day of YOUR new pay period in Paylocity is Sunday, December 17, 2023.
You will receive your first paycheck via Paylocity on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Direct deposit is required.
You will be paid bi-weekly on Friday.
We promise to provide the information that you will need to successfully navigate open enrollment AND the onboarding to Paylocity.
